Landmark estate leads L.A.'s top residential sales at $59.3 million
The Holmby Hills residence known as the Singleton House set a 2015 price record so far this year in California at slightly under $60 million. Built for Teledyne co-founder Henry Singleton, the Wallace Neff-designed home features a grand entry with an oval hallway, grand formal areas, a study/library, 10 bedrooms and 12.5 bathrooms in 15,520 square feet. The home had been listed for as much as $85 million and was leased out in 2012 for $34,000 a month. Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North had the listing agents.
