(The property was listed at $3.5 million)
Property records show the Tinseltown scion and beaver busy movie star purchased the gated and very privately situated 1.92-acre property in July 2005 (via blind trust) for $2.5 million and digital marketing materials peg the late-1940s, single-story ranch house at 2,826-square-feet with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
A long drive way sweeps up from the street to a motor court in front of the main house that includes a formal living room with what appears to be white-painted wood floors and a step-down lounge lined with wood-framed glass sliders filled with panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley. A less formal great room/den has a vaulted and sky-lit ceiling, generous built-in bookshelves and an integrated office area and media room.
The cork-floored eat-kitchen, right off the formal living room as far as this boozy-eyed property gossip can tell, has with wood counter tops — let’s just assume they’re walnut or teak or something delicious like that — subway tile back splashes and high-end appliances that include a glass-fronted industrial-inspired fridge/freezer that costs about as much as a well-equipped Hyundai.
