Sumner Redstone’s Girlfriend Lists Mini-Manse Above Beverly Hills
Tucked into a gated, celebrity-approved enclave in a lush canyon above Beverly Hills, a stone and stucco French-style cottage with 5,500 square feet and a long showbusiness pedigree has come up for sale with a $7.895 million asking price. The current owner — a blind trust known in real estate gossip circles to be connected to nonagenarian Sumner Redstone’s fortysomething girlfriend Sydney Holland — bought the five-bedroom and 5.5 bathroom mini-manse only last fall for $6.4 million from Jessica Simpson.
Previous owners include Ellen DeGeneres, Rick Yorn and Tom Freston who, as it turns out, several months ago sold a 7,300-plus-square-foot house right around the corner in an off-market deal for $10.125 million to engaged and pregnant Tinseltown duo Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. Some of the other high-profile homeowners in the ’hood include Nicole Kidman, Ziggy Marley, Guy Oseary, Gabe Kaplan and Cameron Diaz who — in case you’re curious — acquired her two-house compound in June 2010 for almost $6.5 million from Candice Bergen.
